Welcome to the website of Alpinarc Kennels, located in the semi-rural outskirts of Sydney, Australia..
Sincere thanks and appreciation to Jill Adolfson of Kennel Ciwis Secret in Sweden, who so kindly designed and hosted my last website, giving me time to learn how to design my own.. As you can see, i got there eventually!!
I am a small, yet passionate breeder of White Shepherds currently utilising Australian, American, German and English bloodlines in my breeding program.
If you are after a genuine breeder that will always be there to offer support and assistance throughout your puppies life then Alpinarc will be able to fulfill your desires.
I am dedicated to the White Shepherd, they have become my life. The breeding side is a hobby that i enjoy as i wish to contribute and improve this 'breed apart' in the Land Downunder!
I don't breed a set amount of litters per year, focusing purely on 'Quality' not quantity. And I put a great deal of thought, research & care into my mate selections for my girls.
Words can not express my delight at sharing my days with these beloved White Fur Kids, be it just daily companionship or packing up the pooches for obedience, agility or a romp in the paddock.
I'm so proud of what I have achieved in my first few years of being a breeder, and recently received a nomination for "Breeder of the Year" from the Master Dog Breeders Academy!!
To date I have bred 3 Best of Breeds, 2 in Australia; Alpinarc Apparitions TWICE and Alpinarc Attention Seeka BOB and RUBOB, plus the ultimate result of Alpinarc Brise d'hiver, exported overseas, and taking out Best of Breed twice in New Caledonia!! And not forgetting Alpinarc Demands Attention with her 2007 RunnerUpBIS!
Long sleepless nights, vet bills, heartaches; makes it all worth while when you see a baby you brought into this world succeed on such a high level. Whether it be in the show ring, or snuggled up in the arms of its loving owner. To all my wonderful puppy buyers out there in this big world, thank you.. Your support is forever appreciated.
I was actively involved with the White Swiss Shepherd Dog Club of Australia, holding a position on the committee until March 2007, but resigned in order to focus on more important issues than breed politics.
I am also a member and registered breeder with the White German Shepherd Dog Alliance of Victoria. Each club have different goals, but all share the love of our white coated shepherds! Just like me! So it was only fitting that I joined both of them to show my support for our beautiful dogs.
Alpinarc Kennels would like to point out to potential White Shepherd owners, that White Shepherds are not a recognised separate breed in Australia (they are considerd German Shepherd Dogs of white coat colour) and therefore cannot be issued ANKC (Australian National Kennel Council) pedigree papers. The only bodies registering and papering White Shepherds in Australia are the White German Shepherd Dog Alliance of Victoria & The White Swiss Shepherd Dog Club of Australia.
